The United States Government offers employment-based visas that lead you to obtain legal permanent residency (a green card). Executives and managers from a multinational company can benefit from this first preference visa also known as EB-1 (C).

What are the requirements?

• The candidate must have been working for a multinational company for at least one year before applying to this visa.
• The person must be coming to the United States to work for the same company at an executive or managerial level.

Could I apply for this visa if I work for a multinational company’s affiliate or subsidiary?

• Yes

Do I need to have a job offer to apply for this visa?

• No, but your employer must provide proof that you will be working for the same company, an affiliate or a subsidiary at a managerial or executive level. Also, your employer needs to provide a statement of the job duties you will be performing.
