This Thanksgiving, ALG Lawyers would like to give thanks by giving back to its community. ALG Lawyers donated one hundred boxes of stuffing to the Westside Thanksgiving Community Dinner & Celebration.
Since 1982, the Westside Community Celebration has made Thanksgiving a holiday that everyone can enjoy. The Westside Community Celebration serves a free sit-down Thanksgiving dinner and provides free haircuts, blankets, clothing, hygiene kits, medical, optical and dental services, vaccinations, a resource fair, and a children’s carnival.
The Celebration relies on donations and volunteers to be successful. Donations may include money, turkeys, pumpkin pies, boxes of stovetop stuffing, clothing and warm blankets. Volunteers may help serve a traditional turkey dinner for free, not only to the homeless but also to many students, singles, seniors and low-income families.
Everyone is welcome to the Celebration. Participants can volunteer by donating food, money or time, helping to serve food or hand out clothing and blankets.
